CT Imaging Technologist - Sigma Healthcare

The Sigma Healthcare team is actively seeking a skilled CT Imaging Technologist to provide exceptional service at our healthcare facility.

Work Schedule: 40 Hours, 11p-7a (availability for this shift is essential), with some flexibility on specific days.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts CT diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, adhering to established standards and practices.
  • Evaluates relevant information; prepares and informs patients regarding procedures and what to expect.
  • Completes all necessary documentation related to patient care and procedures.
  • Utilizes hospital and departmental information systems and equipment effectively.
  • Maintains productivity, adaptability, and timeliness in managing workload and departmental needs.
  • Follows departmental policies and safety protocols specific to the modality.
  • Actively participates in departmental and modality meetings, as well as committee initiatives.
  • Meets hospital, departmental, and professional standards and requirements.
  • Engages in responsibilities aimed at continuous improvement in alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
  • ARRT R and MDPH Radiology License are mandatory.
  • ARRT CT certification is preferred and must be obtained within two years of employment. Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology or CAT Scan Technology program is required.
  • Prior experience in performing CAT Scan procedures is preferred or equivalent experience as determined by the Department Manager.
  • Demonstrates quality consciousness, strong interpersonal skills, flexibility in managing multiple tasks, dependability, organization, independent judgment, and high technical proficiency.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Frequently reaches and handles objects, and occasionally stoops, crouches, and feels items to assess their attributes.
