Optometric Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometric Technician to join our team at Music City Optical, Inc. As an Optometric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our doctors in-office procedures.
Responsibilities- Greet patients and obtain their medical history and relevant information for their visit
- Conduct an initial assessment of the patient and record all findings
- Assist in in-office procedures, as needed
- Educate patients on best practices and eye health
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
- Ensure confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Develop strong relationships with patients and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and procedures
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
- Previous experience in an optometrist office, healthcare, or customer service setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
- Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures and technology
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
