Night Shift Hematology/Oncology Nurse Position

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our Hematology/Oncology team in the Night shift at Albany Medical Center.

Job Overview:

  • The successful candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, assessing and addressing the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care activities.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year (estimated)

About the Job:

Patient Care Focus:

The Registered Professional Nurse will prioritize patient-centered care, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and support.

Teamwork and Communication:

The nurse will work closely with the caregiving team to facilitate open communication and foster a collaborative environment.

Confidentiality and Data Security:

This role requires access to sensitive patient information, necessitating adherence to strict confidentiality and data security protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure in New York State.
  • Significant experience in hematology/oncology nursing or related field.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
