Position Overview:

This role is focused on providing clinical expertise in the assessment, treatment, and management of pediatric patients within a collaborative healthcare framework. The multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical scientists, and social workers, all working together to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the diagnosis and treatment of a diverse range of pediatric patients, including those with complex needs in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
  • Participate in the education and mentorship of medical residents, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to research initiatives and opportunities for publication, enhancing the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.
Qualifications:
  • Must be board certified or eligible in the relevant subspecialty.
  • Possession of a current BCLS-CPR certification.
  • Valid medical license in Florida and DEA registration.
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
