Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Target Optical. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional optical experience for our guests by providing expert knowledge, exceptional service, and a personalized approach to eyewear selection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to ensure the perfect vision solution.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
  • Participate in creating a positive store environment and foster strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, including displays and inventory.
  • Embody our company values by treating customers and colleagues with respect and dignity.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivation and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
