Position Summary

We are currently in search of a Senior Wealth Management Consultant responsible for cultivating relationships and delivering financial and investment advice to both existing and prospective wealth clients.

Wealth Management Consultants collaborate with a team of specialists within the Wealth Group, engaging with Private Bankers, Trust Officers, Fixed Income Teams, RPS Administrators, and Philanthropy Officers as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Client Relationships:
    Conduct regular meetings with clients to review and update their financial goals, information, and investments. Evaluate clients' risk tolerance and return objectives to construct tailored investment portfolios.
  • Provide Financial Planning Advice:
    Complete basic financial plans and collaborate with our dedicated financial planning team to implement comprehensive strategies. Facilitate introductions to in-house insurance experts and other financial resources.
  • Prospect New Business:
    Develop new wealth management opportunities through internal referrals and foster strong relationships with business partners in Consumer and Commercial sectors.
  • Maintain Industry Knowledge:
    Stay informed about economic and financial conditions to provide relevant advice to clients throughout various business cycles. Continuously research and develop expertise in relevant subjects.

  • Planning and Organization: Effectively determine action plans, manage priorities, and allocate resources to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Technical Proficiency: Possess the necessary technical knowledge to perform effectively in the role and engage in continuous learning to adopt new trends.
  • Collaboration: Actively cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with colleagues to achieve business goals.
  • Communication: Share information and ideas effectively with individuals and groups, tailoring delivery methods to suit the audience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or institutional wealth management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both verbal and written.
  • Working knowledge of investment markets, products, and services, with the ability to implement strategies that meet client needs.
  • Excellent sales and closing skills.
  • Possession of Series 6 or 7 licenses for brokerage products.
  • State Life and Health Insurance Licenses.
  • CFP, MBA, or other professional designations are preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
