Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to work as a Pediatric Feeding Therapist in our home-based setting. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

This part-time position involves conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with feeding difficulties. You will work closely with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that addresses the unique needs of each child.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations using standardized assessments to identify areas of need for therapy
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with physician orders and patient goals
  • Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs and ensure seamless transition between therapy sessions
  • Act as a key member of the patients' medical neighborhoods, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain open communication with agency personnel to ensure understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas
  • An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability
  • Flexibility to adjust priorities as needed based on business requirements
  • Proficiency in using common workplace technology, including laptop computers, phones, email, and web browsers
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in a home-health setting
  • Certifications or experience in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (e.g., VitalStim)
  • Bilingual skills in English/Spanish

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
