Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all menu items according to specified recipes and requirements.
  • Plate and present food items for residents and guests with attention to detail.
  • Coordinate food production to align with meal service times, ensuring quality, temperature, and presentation are maintained.
  • Monitor food safety by checking temperatures and adhering to proper food storage practices in compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Keep the work area safe and sanitary, which may involve cleaning cooking equipment and other kitchen areas as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar culinary role.
  • State certification in Safe Food Handling and Sanitation is required if applicable.
