Job Description

The Major Incident Response (MIR) deputy lead is part of a team responsible for quickly detecting and resolving critical IT disruptions and to restore normal operations as rapidly as possible by coordinating necessary resources and expertise across different teams within the Air Force District of Washington.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads the Major Incident Response (MIR) team in the absence of the lead
  • Identify major IT incidents based on reporting from AFNCR work centers, both internal and external to the program
  • Coordinate with responsible parties (internal or external) to diagnose, fix, and communicate the IT problem/status/resolution
