We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Caregiver to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Bingham Farms.
Job Summary:The Resident Caregiver will provide personalized care and support to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, managing behaviors, and promoting socialization and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages
- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
- Manage behaviors and provide emotional support
- Encourage socialization and participation in activities
- Provide information and orientation to residents and families
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
- Knowledge and experience working with elderly
- Previous dementia experience preferred
- No mandate to stay over for shift coverage

The Resident Caregiver must be able to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, push and pull objects, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and use full range of motion in hands, arms, and legs.
