Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Assistant to join our team at WKS Restaurant Group. As a Service Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our restaurant, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the interior and exterior of the restaurant, including sweeping, scrubbing, and cleaning curbs, building pads, and dumpster areas.
  • Ensure that all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils are washed and sanitized to the highest standards.
  • Clear and clean tables, and carry trays of dishes to the dish room.
  • Clean and organize the back and front of the house, including sweeping, vacuuming, and removing trash.
  • Perform deep cleaning duties, such as scrubbing walls, cleaning walk-in coolers, and scrubbing sidewalks and dumpster areas.
  • Store and rotate stock, and adhere to Denny's Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist other service personnel as needed.

Accountabilities:

  • Dining room tables are cleaned and sanitized, and all necessary supplies are maintained throughout the shift.
  • The front and back of the house are clean, organized, and stocked at all times to ensure timely customer service.
  • The restaurant exterior is clean, neat, and organized.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 30lbs required.
  • Flexible and reliable.
  • Team player.
  • Bends, stoops, reaches, wipes, and lifts.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to move and/or operate in the work area.
  • Must work inside and outside.
  • Must be able to observe wares to ensure health requirements for cleanliness are met.
  • Must meet any state, county, or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling.

Minimum 6 months experience preferred.
