The Registered Nurse Transfer Center is responsible for evaluating, coordinating, and processing patient transfers into the CHRISTUS Health System. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a high level of professionalism, and a patient-centered mentality.
Responsibilities:
- Exhibits excellent customer service skills, including telephone and personal contact with all CHRISTUS Transfer Center groups.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times.
- Maintains a patient-centered mentality at all times.
- Anticipates and prioritizes critical transfer issues.
- Appropriately escalates concerns/barriers that require administrative judgment based on hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- RN License in state of employment or compact
- BLS
