Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. This role involves performing evidence-based medical care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining comprehensive medical records. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Nurse Practitioner and a Master's degree in Nursing.
Responsibilities- Evidence-Based Medical Care: Plan, direct, and evaluate patient medical needs.
- Patient Examinations and Treatments: Examine and treat chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses.
- Diagnostics and Testing: Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed.
- Care Collaboration: Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care and maintaining a comprehensive plan of care.
- Referrals and Records: Provide referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary and ensure patient medical records are kept up to date.
- Licensure: Active state Nurse Practitioners license.
- Certification: Current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification.
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN).
- Experience: Five or more years of nursing experience; at least two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills – verbal and written; excellent time management skills with accountability for practitioner's daily workflow; proficiency in medical instruments and equipment; strong knowledge base of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
- Competitive Compensation: USD $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
- Flexible Schedule: Weekdays and daytime shifts only.
- Mileage Reimbursement: For certain roles and delegated activities.
