Job Summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including positron emission tomography (PET) and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scans.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable imaging results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, with a strong background in nuclear medicine imaging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
