Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SSM Health. As a Mammography Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment

Operate mammography equipment and perform various procedures to ensure high-quality images.

Prepare and Position Patients

Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Develop and Evaluate Images

Develop and evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring they meet our high standards.

Follow Radiation Safety Procedures

Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Submit Images and Documents

Submit high-quality images and documents to our PACS system in a timely manner.

Maintain a Clean and Organized Department

Ensure the department is clean and organized, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.

Requirements
  • Education

An Associate's degree or graduate from a certificate program in radiologic technology.

Experience

No experience required, but a strong understanding of mammography procedures and equipment is essential.

Licenses and Certifications

A Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association, an ARRT-R Radiography certification, a Radiographer, Licensed certification from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, and an ARRT-M Mammography certification.

Work Environment

This is a full-time day shift position, working 36 hours per week. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills.
