Preferred Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join their team in Salinas, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Mammography Technologist with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Salinas, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your mammography skills while advancing your career as a mammographer.

Responsibilities:

  • Explain the procedure to patients, and properly position them to obtain the best image for the physician.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and operate sophisticated medical imaging equipment that uses low-level radiation to produce detailed images of the breast.
  • Provide empathetic and professional care to make patients feel more comfortable and assured.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Licensed by the California Radiologic Health Branch - Certificate and Fluoroscopy Certificate
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
  • Current CPR/ BLS certification
  • 2 years of experience required within the last 5 years
