We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Journalist to join our team at Paducah Television Operations LLC in Lincoln, Nebraska.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong on-air presence, excellent shooting and editing skills, and the ability to pitch stories with a right-now impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shoot, write, and edit packages and vo-sots
  • Pitch stories that have a significant impact
  • Write engaging stories for social media and our website
  • Dig deeper into stories to uncover unique insights
  • Produce special reports as needed
  • Create web-extra content to enhance our online presence
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • A curious and innovative spirit
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field (preferred)
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
