We are currently seeking a committed and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in a school environment. This role is essential in fostering the development and well-being of students through tailored therapy services.
Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT)
Type of Employment: Full-time, Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to create and execute effective therapy strategies.
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' needs and track their progress.
- Ensure precise and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student advancements.
- Engage in IEP meetings, contributing to the formulation of IEP objectives.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Occupational Therapist license in California.
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related discipline is required.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
