Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Management: Uphold safety standards and ensure the health and well-being of all personnel involved in assigned projects within the Offshore Projects division.

Quality Assurance: Guarantee that all project management, planning, design, construction, and commissioning activities align with the expectations and requirements of both internal and external stakeholders, adhering to established standards and regulations.

Project Oversight: Responsible for achieving the scope, schedule, and budget objectives of Offshore Projects by:
  • Monitoring performance against stakeholder requirements, utilizing existing tools, and proactively addressing issues.
  • Developing comprehensive plans that include actionable steps, realistic resource estimates, risk identification, and clear timelines.
  • Fostering collaboration and consensus among team members and stakeholders to enhance project outcomes.
  • Ensuring project performance meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations.
  • Making informed decisions based on critical information and considering the implications of those decisions.
  • Strategically balancing overarching business concerns with daily operations, while demonstrating an understanding of the unique dynamics involved in offshore projects.
Financial Accountability: Ensure that project capital budgets are met by applying financial acumen, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and accurately forecasting expenses.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with at least ten years of diverse project experience in the energy sector.
  • Experience as a Project Manager, responsible for all aspects of project delivery from initiation to completion.
OR
  • A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical or business-related field with a minimum of twelve years of diversified project experience in the energy industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, planning, and leadership abilities.
  • A collaborative approach to teamwork and service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of pipeline and sub-sea structures engineering, construction management, industry standards, and complex design and commissioning processes.
Work Environment:
  • Office-based role with frequent travel to field locations, including potential exposure to extreme weather conditions.
  • Commitment to extended hours may be required.
  • Ability to make calm, informed decisions under pressure.
  • Flexible work arrangements may be available based on role requirements.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Physical tasks may include light to moderate lifting, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Mental tasks involve understanding complex instructions, organizing work schedules, and making impactful decisions.
