Seeking a skilled Digital Imaging Specialist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to operate magnetic resonance scanners for diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate Degree or equivalent, relevant certifications (ARRT (R) or (MR)), and current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.
  • Receive patients, explain method of examination, and position patient, perform IV puncture, and administer IV contrast agent when indicated.
  • Independently perform and complete routine examinations.
  • Meet the needs of the patient, family, and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination, and documentation ensuring safety, care, courtesy, and efficiency.

What We Offer:

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado, as part of our dedicated healthcare team. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week with variable shifts.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or one-year minimum related experience and/or training, required.
  • Current ARRT (R) or (MR)
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
  • Ability to interact with people of all ages, required
