Operating Room Travel Nurse

Job Opportunity: Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team in a dynamic Operating Room environment.
Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Operating Room department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OR nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team: The travel nurse will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain a safe and efficient OR environment: The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized OR environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly.
- Communicate effectively: The travel nurse will be expected to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, providing clear and concise information about patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- NJ / Multi-state Compact license: The successful candidate must hold a valid NJ or multi-state compact license.
- 2 Years' Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
- AHA BLS: The candidate must hold a current AHA BLS certification.
- ASN: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but an Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) is also acceptable.
- AHA ACLS and PALS preferred: While not required, ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
