Position: Cashier

The Cashier plays a vital role in maintaining the dining experience by ensuring cleanliness and efficiency. Responsibilities include operating the cash register or Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit transactions, and assisting in the upkeep of the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a friendly and welcoming demeanor towards all patrons.
  • Efficiently operate the electronic cash register/POS, accurately processing transactions and providing correct change.
  • Complete daily AM HACCP Logs as required.
  • Prepare the dining area for meal service, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere.
  • Prepare beverages such as tea and coffee for each meal service.
  • Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing dining surfaces, equipment, and tables throughout service.
  • Assist in organizing meal stations with necessary accompaniments and utensils.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned while maintaining a professional appearance.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to engage in significant walking or other forms of mobility.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and frequently lift items weighing up to 20 pounds.
