Job Summary:

The Defense Health Agency is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert psychiatric care to our patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide training and education to residents and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from a recognized medical school.
  • Permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
