Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to administer sound patient care practices, complete ancillary tasks, and maintain equipment and work areas in a neat and safe condition.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radiation protection and safety protocols for patients, staff, and self.
  • Complete examinations and maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Provide clinical services according to Nuclear Medicine practice standards.
  • Act as a resource to Nuclear Medicine students and other technologists.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate's school/program of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT-N or CNMT obtained within one year of hire.
  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within one year of hire.
  • Registered State Inspector – Virginia within 3 months.
  • Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Student.
