Locums, Inc. is currently in search of a dedicated Physician to join a PACE Program clinic in Sacramento, CA, focusing on delivering exceptional care to elderly patients. This clinic is committed to supporting frail geriatric individuals, ensuring they remain in their communities through comprehensive inter-disciplinary team care.
Key Details:
- Immediate opening for a full-time position with 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week. No evening, weekend, or holiday shifts required.
- The clinic operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the provider expected to conduct telehealth and in-home visits during these days until full operational capacity is achieved.
- Average patient load is approximately 57 patients per day, all of whom are geriatric.
- The primary care clinic involves diagnosing, treating, prescribing medications, administering immunizations, and providing follow-up services to the local geriatric population under the PACE program.
- Utilization of Greenway PrimeSuite for electronic medical records.
- Malpractice insurance coverage is provided.
- For locum tenens providers, travel, lodging, and mileage expenses will be covered.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted California Physician License.
- Clean background check.
- Active and unrestricted DEA License.
- Board Certification is required.
