Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Kohl's. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting our assets and preventing theft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor customer and associate activities to prevent theft and apprehend individuals engaged in theft activity.
  • Conduct surveillance and apprehension of external theft suspects in compliance with Kohl's Ethical Standards and Apprehension Guidelines.
  • Assist in internal theft investigations and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of CCTV surveillance equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
Operational, Shortage, and Safety Controls

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will also be responsible for:

  • Assisting in monitoring store compliance with Kohl's policies and procedures relating to theft deterrence, safety, and operational controls.
  • Informing Supervisor and Store Management of shortage control opportunities.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of the store's alarm system and EAS system.
Requirements
  • Adhere to Kohl's policies and procedures and maintain high ethical standards.
  • Maintain attendance and dress code according to Kohl's standards.
  • Engage in effective dialogue with LP Supervisor, DLPM, and Store Management team.
