Job Summary:

As a skilled Medical Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical office setting. Under the direction of a physician, you will be responsible for administering injections and medications, dressing wounds and incisions, and interpreting physician instructions to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by the physician
  • Dress wounds and incisions, and interpret physician instructions to patients
  • Assist with emergency and minor surgery, and perform related tasks as directed
  • Receive and triage incoming calls requiring a nurse assessment and intervention
  • Maintain records of vital statistics and other pertinent patient data
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment, and maintain stock of supplies
  • May conduct specified laboratory tests, and may record and develop electrocardiograms
  • May act as a receptionist, perform secretarial duties, and prepare monthly statements

Requirements:
  • 40 hours per week - First Shift Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Valid LPN license in the State of Indiana or current CMA certification
