About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an ambitious roadmap for projects in collaboration with various stakeholders such as Product Management, Technical Program Management, and compute teams across Google.
  • Work with teammates to identify opportunities to make Kubernetes node simpler, more robust, more scalable, and able to empower next-generation workloads.
  • Engage in OSS community and collaborate with Node and related SIG groups/leads.
  • Utilize experience with large-scale cloud customers and reliability efforts.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have 8 years of experience in software development, 5 years of experience building and developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
