Job Title: Float Rotor Wing Pilot

Life Flight Network is a leading not-for-profit air ambulance organization, renowned for its commitment to safety, excellence, and innovation. As a Float Rotor Wing Pilot, you will be part of a team that embodies these values, working together to provide exceptional care to critically ill and injured patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Professionally and safely operate aircraft to facilitate patient care
  • Develop strong aviation skills, a keen sense of safety, and superior customer service skills
  • Effectively communicate with various individuals, both one-on-one and in large groups, often in high-stress situations
  • Work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of seven guaranteed shifts per pay period
  • Cover open shifts at bases in Astoria, Hoquiam, Port Angeles, and Coupeville
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5 years' experience as a professional pilot preferred
  • 2000 hours Total Time required
  • 1500 hours as Pilot in Command
  • 1000 hours R/W Turbine time required
  • 100 hours instrument time preferred
  • 75 Instrument hours total – with at least 50 hours in aircraft instrument time required
  • 100 hours of unaided nighttime required
  • Pilots with air medical transportation experience preferred
  • Pilots with NVG experience preferred
  • Mountain experience preferred. Experience evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Must hold a FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Helicopter Rating
  • Must have and maintain a FAA second class flight physical
