Performance Improvement Coordinator RN

At Southern Regional Medical Center, we are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. As a PI Coordinator Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring our organization meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with our Performance Improvement team, you will assist in coordinating, integrating, and implementing organization-wide performance improvement activities. This will involve:
- Chart reviews to identify areas for improvement
- Data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and quality outcomes studies
- Staff education on core measures and updates on new and enhanced indicators
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
- State RN licensure or certification in a healthcare field (preferred)
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Experience in reviewing charts for care issues
- Detail-oriented organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple cases and directions, with a focus on follow-through
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with Medical Staff communication
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, with a strong commitment to professional work ethics
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and typing
