Overview

At Southern Regional Medical Center, we are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. As a PI Coordinator Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring our organization meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with our Performance Improvement team, you will assist in coordinating, integrating, and implementing organization-wide performance improvement activities. This will involve:

  • Chart reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and quality outcomes studies
  • Staff education on core measures and updates on new and enhanced indicators
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
  • State RN licensure or certification in a healthcare field (preferred)
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Experience in reviewing charts for care issues
  • Detail-oriented organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and directions, with a focus on follow-through
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with Medical Staff communication
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, with a strong commitment to professional work ethics
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and typing
