The PeopleSoft Integration Analyst will engage in a variety of business systems analysis and operational support activities.
Role Responsibilities:The analyst will deliver high-level operational and batch support for the ELM, HCM, and FSCM applications. Responsibilities include:
- Linking business operations with the configuration, guidelines, workflows, and batch processing related to the ELM, HCM, and FSCM applications.
- Defining and executing application and scheduling system configuration parameters.
- Assessing the feasibility and developing specifications for systems, batch processes, and enhancements to existing or new systems; ensuring the system design aligns with user requirements.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement through automation, minimizing manual tasks, and enhancing productivity while reducing human errors.
- Facilitating seamless integration of new tools and systems through Integration Orchestration.
- Gathering business requirements and conducting fit/gap analysis on new and modified batch processes.
- Installing and enhancing software; programming, testing, debugging, and implementing new or modified programs.
- Consulting on application analysis; troubleshooting system issues; implementing solutions.
- Identifying, managing, and escalating issues and risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conducting system analysis and programming activities for complex systems; documenting new and modified systems and programs; coordinating user training on new functionalities.
- Collaborating with interconnecting departments and external vendors to ascertain system needs and requirements.
- Assisting clients in preparing service requests for system modifications; evaluating effort and cost for implementing service requests; prioritizing requests.
- Providing technical production support for online and batch systems; assisting with processing schedules; generating and updating reports.
- Coordinating with external vendors and contractors to complete projects and service requests; defining, assigning, and assessing their work.
- Determining database structures; normalizing data; converting data between platforms; designing, developing, and generating routine and ad hoc reports based on user needs.
- Establishing security levels for systems to maintain data integrity; testing database applications to ensure functionality and effectiveness.
- Researching and evaluating software across multiple platforms; assisting in developing evaluation criteria for software.
- Defining operating characteristics and requirements; developing or modifying and documenting general system/process designs; writing detailed design specifications; conducting "walkthroughs" for proposed solutions to system challenges.
- Maintaining up-to-date functional and technical documentation.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
