Job Summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to provide direct patient care and support licensed professional nurses in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients.
  • Collect vital information on patients and report changes in patient status to the nursing team.
  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), perform vital signs, intake & output, fall and pressure ulcer prevention measures, urinary catheter care, phlebotomy, or point of care testing as requested.
  • Ensure availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs.
  • Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • No experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certified Nurse Assistant.
