We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Laboratory Operations team as a Specimen Receptionist. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services and delivering exceptional patient care.


Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $58,000-$68,000, based on industry standards and location. Responsibilities

As a Specimen Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving laboratory specimens and ensuring specimen identity and acceptability
  • Preparing specimens for analysis
  • Entering orders for laboratory testing into the Lab Information System
  • Providing information related to specimen requirements, test availability, and specimen testing status

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Six months of job-related experience preferred
