Position Overview:
The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) plays a crucial role in providing essential support to the healthcare team by assisting with various resident care tasks and non-professional services aimed at ensuring the comfort and personal needs of residents are met. This position is responsible for delivering follow-up restorative services as directed by licensed healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, in collaboration with the nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
2. Implement prescribed ambulation techniques and supervise residents during daily activities.
3. Maintain and manage the inventory of assistive devices, ensuring they are used correctly and safely.
4. Document resident care and report any changes in health status to the appropriate nursing staff.
5. Provide support in meal preparation and assist residents with eating as needed.
6. Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, as instructed.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of a state-approved training program and possession of a current CNA license in good standing.

Work Environment:
This position primarily operates in a patient care setting, where the employee may encounter moderate noise levels typical of healthcare environments.
