Reporting to an Associate while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the VP of Finance, you will need to exhibit a strong capability in quantitative analysis and financial modeling, along with practical business insight.

Our entrepreneurial environment offers varied opportunities, including evaluating oil & gas prospects, financial structuring, equity and debt arrangements, and negotiation of deals, akin to experiences found in private equity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced financial models for the acquisition and development of oil and gas assets
- Analyze intricate financing structures for deals, including stress testing of proposed frameworks
- Prepare internal and external reports, alongside various presentation materials
- Liaise with senior management regarding project updates, variance analysis, and performance metrics
- Assist the Associate with additional projects and requests as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in financial modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials
- Strong work ethic, resourceful, with flexibility to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Self-driven individual committed to excellence in their work
- Eagerness to learn and collaborate within a small team; willingness to assist beyond primary responsibilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field with strong academic performance
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking, private equity, or upstream oil and gas sectors
