Job Description

Domino's Franchise is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete food orders before leaving the store
  • Know the store's delivery area and be able to read area maps
  • Safely drive to and from locations, delivering undamaged products
  • Greet customers in the restaurant or at their homes and project a positive image
  • Take pizza orders when not on a delivery and accurately take phone, face-to-face, and computer orders
  • Handle cash transactions, make correct change, and perform cash drops and reconciliation
  • Use Domino's specific equipment, such as car toppers, hot bags, and jackets, and display, return, and store them properly
  • Assist with keeping the store clean and stocked and perform duties similar to other entry-level employees
Work Conditions and Requirements:
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions outside
  • Bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more, unloaded by the team member using a hand truck
  • Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'
  • Cases are usually lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72 high
  • Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves
  • Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, weighing approximately 12 pounds per tray
  • To move trays placed on dollies, requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push
Qualifications:

All personnel involved in product delivery for Domino's Pizza must have their driving records reviewed and show proof of and maintain auto liability insurance before employment and every month thereafter. Driver's licenses must be in good standing, not suspended, revoked, or restricted. Employees in driver positions need to perform basic tasks, including completing food orders, knowing the store's delivery area, and safely driving to and from locations.
