Adjunct Faculty, Geography

College of DuPage is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach Geography courses. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Geography courses to students in various delivery modes.
  • Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
  • Submit required paperwork related to instruction in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Geography or Geographic Information Science, or a related area with at least 18 graduate-level hours in Geography.
  • College-level teaching experience and proficiency in designing instruction to engage students.
  • Ability to teach face-to-face classes on campus.
  • Experience in online or virtual teaching is preferred.
