Department Information:
The Diagnostic Imaging department at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix is known for its fast-paced environment, performing over 350 imaging exams daily. We cater to a diverse patient population, including inpatients, outpatients, and specialized clinics.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Radiology Technologist, you will be part of a dynamic team, gaining experience across multiple areas within the department. This position is ideal for those interested in working in a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Transplant Center.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, specifically during the noon shift with a schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, including every third weekend. A consistent rotating schedule will be provided.
Additional Benefits:
Enjoy an 18% night shift differential and a flat rate of $3/hour for weekend shifts when applicable. Our facility is recognized nationally for its commitment to clinical excellence and research, providing a supportive environment for professional growth.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will perform specialized radiographic procedures in accordance with established policies and protocols. A national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and state licensure (if required) are necessary. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective human relations skills are essential for success in this role.
