Job Summary

Penn State Abington's Science and Engineering Division is seeking a part-time instructor in the area of Chemistry to begin in Spring 2024. The successful candidate will teach college-level courses in pre-general chemistry, general chemistry, or organic chemistry, with the possibility of laboratory instruction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach college-level courses in chemistry, including pre-general chemistry, general chemistry, or organic chemistry.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching methods to engage students and promote learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of chemistry and incorporate relevant topics into the curriculum.
Requirements and Qualifications
