How You'll Make an ImpactAs a Crisis Residential Mental Health Practitioner, you'll work with our clients to provide support and guidance in achieving their recovery goals. You'll be part of a supportive team with 24-hour access to mental health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to clients in a mental health crisis in a residential setting.
- Conduct mental health assessments, suicide/homicide assessments, and develop individual treatment plans.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with clients and families, providing resources, reassurance, and empathy.
- Coordinate with clients' existing providers and make necessary referrals.
- Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) qualifications: 4,000 hours working with individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, or chemical dependency diagnoses, or a master's degree in behavioral sciences or related fields.
- Clear DHS background study and valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- At least 18 years of age.
We're looking for kind and supportive individuals who are willing to walk with our clients in their darkest days, making a difference and impacting their recovery. Experience with motivational interviewing, de-escalation techniques, and crisis intervention is ideal.
