Estimated Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000 per yearJob Description

We are seeking an innovative, collaborative, and service-oriented Digital Archivist who can provide leadership and expertise in digital archiving, preservation, and electronic records management for the Mahn Center for Archives and Special Collections. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a collaborative approach to managing born-digital content across collections, ensuring long-term accessibility and integrity of digital materials, and fostering the scholarly use of OHIO collections globally.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Library and Information Science (M.L.S./M.L.I.S.) from an ALA-accredited library school, or an equivalent accredited degree with formal training in archival theory and practice.
  • Working knowledge of tools and software used to capture, manage, transfer, and deliver born-digital records, including web archiving activities and tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards for archival description and preservation such as DACS, EAD, METS, and PREMIS.
  • Experience with archival processing.
