Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and train staff engaged in all warehouse operations.
- Ensure adherence to warehouse standards for accurate receiving, picking, delivery, and material placement according to established practices.
- Facilitate effective communication among production, quality, and engineering teams to meet company customer service objectives.
- Utilize organizational systems and company ERP technology to accurately track and manage inventory to fulfill manufacturing demand orders.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through training, process reinforcement, and oversight of material movements and ERP/MRP system transactions.
- Ensure timely delivery of manufacturing work cell materials and verify transaction accuracy.
- Contribute to the development, revision, and enforcement of inventory management procedures, including record-keeping, work instructions, ISO protocols, and other operational standards as necessary.
- Exemplify, comprehend, and enforce company safety policies.
- Understand, embody, and promote the core values of the company.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate or advanced degree is advantageous.
- 2-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving, stock management, inventory control, and record-keeping.
- Experience with cycle counting is a plus.
- Warehouse optimization experience is preferred.
- Proven track record of leading teams, either directly or indirectly.
- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP system functionalities.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems, particularly Oracle/JD Edwards, is preferred.
This is a full-time role. The work schedule typically spans Friday to Monday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Occasional off-day work may be necessary based on job requirements.
