Key Responsibilities
- Conduct echocardiographic studies and procedures for patients, utilizing non-ionizing radiation for disease assessment.
- Work under the general oversight of the site supervisor in conjunction with the cardiovascular team.
- This role may require overtime and on-call duties as needed by the healthcare facility.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in patient care.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in performing echocardiography studies.
- Eligible for Echo Registry according to ICAEL standards.
- CPR Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Registry in Adult Cardiac Ultrasound.
- ARDMS or CCI or Registry-Eligible Registered Echocardiography Technologist.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Allied Health degree with experience in Cardiac Ultrasound.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Registry in Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound preferred.
