Job OverviewAs a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental prophylaxis, conducting oral cancer screenings, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. You will also assist the dentist during procedures and maintain patient records.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform dental prophylaxis, including scaling, cleaning, and polishing teeth, to remove plaque, calculus, and stains.
- Conduct oral cancer screenings and other diagnostic tests to identify and detect any abnormalities or diseases.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including toothbrushing, flossing, and other effective preventive measures.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including crown and bridge placements, fillings, and extractions.
- Valid state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) along with current CPR certification.
- Associate's degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist, with a thorough understanding of oral disease prevention and hygiene practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
