Job Summary
As a Commercial Insurance Risk Manager, you will play a key role in assessing and managing commercial insurance risks within our underwriting guidelines. This position involves reviewing and analyzing business submissions, renewals, and endorsements to determine the degree of risk.

We are seeking an experienced underwriter with a strong background in commercial lines insurance to join our team as an Underwriting Specialist - Commercial Lines. In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting new business, renewal processing, and endorsement modification within our company's underwriting guidelines and philosophy.

The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-5 years of experience in commercial lines underwriting or a related field are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite commercial insurance business submissions, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Analyze business data to assess the degree of risk.
  • Communicate with agents, brokers, and policyholders to gather information and provide underwriting decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of underwriting activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes.
