Just Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helicopter Pilot to join our Flight Crew team. As a Helicopter EMS Pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting medical crew and patients to receiving hospitals within an assigned operational area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy for safe transportation.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and Air Methods policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with medical crew and hospital representatives to ensure seamless patient transportation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Instrument rating for category and class of aircraft.
  • ATP rating in category.
  • Commercial single engine land rating for single engine aircraft.
  • First or Second-Class FAA Medical certificate.
  • Minimum 2500 total flight hours with 2000 hours in category.
  • 1000 hours PIC in category.
  • 500 hours of cross-country flight time.
  • 100 hours of night flight time.
  • 100 hours of flight in actual instrument conditions in category.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Helicopter EMS Pilot.
  • Knowledge of air medical operations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
