Position Overview

As Altruist embarks on an exciting journey, we are in search of a Senior QA Engineer to enhance our Quality Assurance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive automation suite for regression and functional testing.
  • Minimize bug leakage through effective testing strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management to guarantee the quality of every feature developed.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, serving as a role model.
  • Refine the automation framework to improve scalability.
  • Identify and implement design patterns and best practices within the QA team.
  • Create mock services and alternative testing methodologies to boost test coverage.
Qualifications
  • Over 5 years of experience in constructing front-end and back-end automation frameworks.
  • Versatile in taking on various roles to help achieve team objectives.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and test-driven development.
  • Familiarity with databases, SQL, and application servers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Java programming.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $136,000 - $170,000 USD
