Job Overview
Accountable for facilitating the daily functions related to pre-admission processes, conducting assessments, and engaging in the strategic planning and execution of business development initiatives. This position emphasizes the creation of marketing strategies to elevate public awareness of the healthcare services offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides marketing assistance by analyzing healthcare operations, trends, and data to establish connections with potential clients or referral sources.
- Develops educational materials for referral sources and healthcare providers regarding services, programs, and outcomes.
- Manages content for social media platforms to promote the facility.
- Supports the coordination of admissions by maintaining tracking files, sending report emails, leading team meetings, assisting Nurse Navigators, and collaborating with hospital leadership while ensuring confidentiality.
- Conducts clinical evaluations by engaging with prospective patients and their families regarding the pre-admission and admission processes.
- Executes assessments and completes pre-admission screenings efficiently.
- Facilitates communication with physicians and business development teams as needed for patient admissions.
- Ensures compliance with Patient/Family-Centered care standards by providing timely and accurate information to support patient and family involvement in care decisions.
- Adheres to customer service standards established by the organization.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Vocational or technical training or degree: Licensed Practical Nurse. Required.
Licenses and Certifications
Current certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association. Required.
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Georgia or an active Multi-State LPN Compact License. Required.
Valid Georgia Driver's License. Required.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct patient care as an LPN. Required.
At least 1 year of experience in guiding patients through their care journey. Preferred.
Skills Required
Professional demeanor, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills (both verbal and written). Required.
Ability to engage positively with patients from diverse backgrounds. Required.
Capacity to build and maintain trust with physicians, clinical managers, and interdisciplinary teams. Required.
