Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at Indiana University Health. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from newborns to adults, who require advanced cardiovascular care.
Responsibilities- Care for complex patients with multiple central access, intracardiac lines, ventilators, and multiple medications and drains.
- Learn to Cardiovert, Defibrillate, and Administer medication to stabilize heart rhythms.
- Provide care for patients requiring advanced respiratory support, continuous dialysis, continuous inotropic medications, heart transplantation, and mechanical cardiac assist devices such as ECMO and VAD.
- Develop and maintain an extensive clinical skillset, including PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including intensivists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Requires at least 2 years of RN experience.
