  • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in court and at settlement conferences, advocating for their rights and interests.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel or insurance companies to secure fair compensation for clients.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and advice, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the process.
  • Manage a caseload efficiently, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to achieve optimal results.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in personal injury law and legal precedents, applying this knowledge to improve case outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate complex cases and develop effective strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities and deadlines to achieve optimal results.
  • Experience managing support staff and/or other attorneys, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Passion for advocating for clients' rights and interests, with a commitment to achieving successful outcomes.
